Vivienne Westwood Srl is recruiting an experienced and proactive resource to join the Purchasing team at our Offices in Milan, reporting directly to the Purchasing & Procurement Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 
Main Purpose of this hybrid Role - between Purchasing & Production - is the operational management on Production & Procurement systems and processes, working alongside the other resources who carry out same activities for RTW Main Line and Accessories line, specifically as follows:

  • Following the insertion of the Bridal orders on SAP, calculation of consumptions of fabrics, linings, trims through the MRP system (BOM’s needed for the MRP run are created by the Bridal Team);
  • After the MRP run, PO creation for finished products to vendors and PO creation for raw materials to fabric mills/trim suppliers;
  • Coordination of bulk orders launch according to leadtimes and delivery dates required, according to the raw materials information provided by the Bridal Team;
  • Follow up with suppliers during the production of raw materials and subsequently inbound of them at company external warehouse when ready;
  • Management of the allocations of raw materials to vendors for manufacturing on CMT (cut, make and trim);
  • Support on the outbound operations;
  • Coordination of Raw Materials reception at the vendor and management of the related activities on SAP;
  • Support on production issues and interface between Bridal team and vendors for the resolution on them;
  • Supervision of finished products arrival at warehouse for shipments to clients;
  • Check on invoices from suppliers in case of price or quantity discrepancies;


Criteria:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics or management engineering or design for the fashion system;
  • fluent in both english and italian languages (mandatory);
  • knowledge of computer operating systems and Office package (proficient in Excel, prior knowledge of SAP is a plus);
  • ability to work as part of a team in an evolving environment;
  • from 2 to 5 years of previous work experience in similar roles, if possible gained in international fashion luxury companies;
  • strong knowledge of production supply chain processes.
